Communications Committee
Canadian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (CAPM&R)

Term of appointment:

Members shall be nominated by the Chairperson with the approval of the Executive Committee. Term of office shall be three years with re-appointment available on recommendation of the Chairperson.
The Chairperson shall be appointed for a three-year term.

Terms of reference:

  1. The Communications Committee shall be responsible for discussing and making decisions and recommendations on issues and subjects including, but not necessarily limited to, the following:

a.     The CAPM&R website

b.    The newsletter and its dissemination

c.     Email directories and listserves

d.    Information on the specialty and the CAPM&R

  1. The Communications Committee will perform other duties related to communications as negotiated with the Executive Committee of the CAPM&R.

Reporting relationship:
The Communications Committee is a sub-committee of the Executive Committee of the CAPM&R and the Chairperson shall report to the Executive Committee.

Frequency of meetings:
The Communications Committee shall meet once per year, generally at the annual meeting of the CAPM&R.
