Research Fellowship Support Award

Target: Specialists in physical medicine and rehabilitation certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or le Collège des médecins du Québec within the past 3 years (36 months).

Purpose: To provide financial support towards a post-residency fellowship position involving research or education in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Award: A single grant of $2000 - $4000 will be awarded on a competitive basis.

Application: The application should include a brief narrative description of:

• personal achievements (including research)
• future professional goals
• reasons for selection of research/training location
• type and extent of research activity

The application should also include:

• two references (at least one from centre of training)
• applicant’s vision of physical medicine and rehabilitation
• a curriculum vitae of the applicant

Application Deadline: May 1^st of each year

Funds Available: October 1^st of each year
